Crayola Glow Chalk Lights-Up the Night with Kids’ Creativity

Easton, PA – February 13, 2011 – When kids let their imaginations run free outside, not only are they exercising their minds, but their bodies, too. Two new additions to Crayola’s line of outdoor art activities inspire kids to create away on sidewalks and driveways from sunrise to sunset! Crayola’s new Washable Glow Chalk gives kids even more hours of active, creative play in their day with a fun twilight activity that lets them create glowing outdoor art with glowing sidewalk chalk colors they make! Adding to the outdoor fun, Crayola’s Washable Sidewalk Tattoos provide a fast and easy way to create more detailed outdoor art with instant outlines.

Crayola is bringing glow-in-the-dark art outdoors with Washable Glow Chalk. Kids can create glowing sidewalk art that glows for up to four hours! It’s easy to do with just a few simple steps. Simply mix the colored chalk powder, glow activator and water together and then pour into the chalk mold tray. Let the chalk set for 30 minutes to harden, and let the nighttime creative fun begin! Best of all, it washes away from driveways and sidewalks.

The kit includes 4 bottles of chalk powder colors, 4 glow activator packets, 1 chalk mold tray which makes 8 glow-in-the-dark chalk pieces and a funnel.

in to create their own scenes and drawings! Just peel back the clear protective sheet and place the sidewalk tattoo face down onto a driveway or sidewalk. Then use the rubbing tool to create instant outlines in bug critters or forest animals that are ready to be colored in with Crayola sidewalk chalk, crayons or paint. The sidewalk tattoos and all Crayola sidewalk chalks and paints are washable - simply spray away with water! The activity includes 4 tattoo sheets, 5 sidewalk chalk sticks and 1 rubbing tool.
